Stephen Stocklen has been riding motorcycles since he threw a leg over a Jr. 50 the day he turned five. That first bike was a 1993 Suzuki which has been retired to the rafters of the Stocklenracing.com garage. He participated in the 1997 KTM Junior Supercross Challenge in the Louisiana Superdome finishing ninth out of 19 farm boys. He was the 2006 Illinois State Champion in the 125C Stadium class and second in the 14* 24 class. This past 2010 season he took the Illinois State Championships in both the 250B and 14*24 Classes. The 14*24 Championship is notable because it is a "run what you brung" class with unlimited motor size. You only need to be between the ages of 14 to 24 to compete in the class. Stocklen did it on a 250cc machine while most competitors in the class ran 450cc motorcycles.
Steve Stocklen is from Circleville, Ohio a state steep in motorcycling tradition. Raised in this small farm town, he's had a two wheeled passion all his life.
